I cannot login my WordPress admin area

Below you can find solution how to login your WordPress admin area.

If the DateBook theme blocks access to the wp-admin page, then do the following:

  • Disable this option, here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Security -> uncheck "Hide the WordPress Admin Login Page".

If you are logged out and cannot open the new login page (there is no login page at all created by DateBook), it means that you have not completed the installation. Do the following:

  1. Connect your website on FTP.
  2. Rename this folder wp-content/plugins/datebook to something different like “datebook_temp”.
  3. Login your website on the admin page https://yoursite/wp-admin
  4. Deactivate the DateBook plugin here: WordPress -> Plugins -> deactivate DateBook.
  5. Rename the folder “datebook_temp” back to “datebook”.
  6. Go here again: WordPress -> Plugins. Activate the DateBook plugin.
  7. Now, you must complete the installation of the theme here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Theme Installer -> complete all 3 steps.
  8. Go here and select all pages relatively: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Pages -> select all newly created pages in all fields.
