How to add Single and Couple profiles
You can create different types of profiles.
For example: Single profiles, Couple profiles, Teacher profiles, Student profiles, Escort profiles, Male escort profiles, Transexual profiles, Agency profiles and etc.
All of these profile types are experimental and are still in beta testing.
1) Go here and create one more form: WordPress -> DateBook -> Forms -> click on “Add new” at the top of the page -> give this form a title “Couple form”.
2) Go here and add one type of profile: WordPress -> Profiles -> Types -> click on “Add new”. Give it a title “Single profile”. On the same page, select “Profile form” in the field “Select the Profile form for this type of profile”.
- Also, select “Registration form” in “Select the Registration form for this type of profile”.
- And select “Settings form” in “Select the Settings form for this type of profile”.
3) Again. Go here and add one more type of profile: WordPress -> Profiles -> Types -> click on “Add new”. Give it a title “Couple profile”. On the same page, select “Couple form” in the field “Select the Profile form for this type of profile”.
- Also, select “Registration form” in “Select the Registration form for this type of profile”.
- And select “Settings form” in “Select the Settings form for this type of profile”.
Done!
Please, note, that you created 2 different forms that can be edited when a user logged in, in his account. It means, that the registration form is still one for both Single and Couple profiles.
But if you want to create 2 different registration forms for Single and Couple, then you should repeat steps 1, 2 and 3. But this time, on step 1, instead of “Couple form”, you should create “Registration form for Couple”.
It is up to you. You can create 2 different Registration form and 2 different Settings forms.
After that, you can create different custom fields both for Single and Couple here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Custom forms. Add those fields in your Single and Couple forms relatively.
Please pay attention! All of these profile types are experimental and are still in beta testing. We don’t know how these types might behave or what effect they might have.
